Called to Go: A Reflection of Team Nepal November 2015. On their God directed journey and kingdom work. Preparation was done, prayers had gone forth, the team was on the ground. Work was being done. Blessings were being poured out, but not without a cost.
The cost is the answer to a heart’s cry. God’s heart. When you are stirred within to make a move to be a blessing, realize it is a move of God on your part. When God calls, He also provides. Team Nepal answered once again the call to go. In going, they were equipped with the resolve to do what it takes to make a difference in the lives of those who have needs they can fulfill by the grace of God. They are yielding their time, talents, gifts and abilities to the Lord and He is providing the increase.
When Jesus gave his life for us on the cross, it cost him pain and suffering. The result, stated briefly: our freedom in this world, adoption into God’s family and eternal life to come. Of course, there is nothing we can do that would compare, but the pattern is set by his example: a cost of an effort resulting in the gift of reward.
The reward the team experienced is reflected in the numbers of those seen in the medical clinics, the supplies reaching those in need and the hope shown in the smiles of the people being ministered to. Not to mention the renewed spirit and increased faith of each team member and worker involved. Rewards from mission work…countless!!
Team Nepal our prayers were continually with you as you went forth and faced the terrain of the land and any obstacle that may have presented itself as you journeyed on in the kingdom work of touching lives and releasing blessing. Thank you for allowing God to flow through you.
Thank you for answering the call.
Thank you for making a difference.
God Bless you and the people you served.
May others be inspired to answer the call to go: the call to help in the way the Lord would lead.
Love, Prayers and Blessing to each of you.
